The West Reading Farmers Market was created in 2006 as part of the Borough revitalization project to bring the surrounding communities to West Reading. The market has ebbed and flowed over the years, consistently providing locally grown foods and quality goods to the community.

We are a producer only market.

What does this mean?

Well, every vendor is a hand-picked, small scale farmer (produce, livestock, or dairy) or food business located within 50 miles of West Reading. Each item is grown, raised, or hand-made. All food producers are asked to source their ingredients locally, whenever possible.

Our main goal is to be a gathering place for those that have a love of local foods, all while assisting our vendors in getting their goods to the community. With this being the 18th market season, our dream is for the market to flourish in 2024! We want every customer to feel fulfilled after their visit and we want each vendor to head home happily with empty vehicles! Please take part in supporting our vendors each Sunday as they show up rain or shine to nourish your family. If knowing where your food comes from is important to you, THIS is the market for you!
